About the Role
As a Senior Strategic Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting our Financial Advisors by preparing high-quality, compliant advice documents and providing strategic insights to optimise financial planning outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
* Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and Investment Performance Reports.
* Conduct data modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic recommendations.
* Analyse client information and assist Advisors in developing tailored financial planning strategies.
* Attend client meetings with Advisors when required.
* Implement financial plans and portfolio changes as part of the ongoing review process.
* Allocate strategic team workflow and peer-review paraplanning work before submission.
* Train and mentor junior paraplanners, supporting their professional development.
* Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
* Use technology effectively to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
What we’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma of Financial Planning or equivalent experience.
* A relevant degree in Financial Planning, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (desirable but not essential).
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on writing SOAs, ROAs, and financial modelling.
* Strong knowledge of industry compliance requirements and financial planning strategies.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Experience working collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
Technical Skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Proficiency in Xplan, Wealthsolver, Xtools+, Risk Researcher
* Experience using APS, Worksorted, Virtual Cabinet, and Zoom
