About us
Translink (a Division of TMR) is responsible for enabling the effective planning and efficient management of public passenger transport services in Queensland and engages delivery partners to operate services on its behalf. Translink and the delivery partners work together to develop and deliver sustainable bus/coach networks.
Key responsibilities
In the role of Senior Advisor (Contract Management) you will manage contracts with Translink's ticketing and technology suppliers as well as contribute to the Smart Ticketing Project. The role will report directly to the Principal Advisor (Contract Management).
Some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Actively manage contracts and project agreements ensuring that all parties obligations are met through the adaption and implementation of contemporary best practice contract management frameworks.
2. Develop clear and concise contractual and other documentation to support the development and negotiation of contracts, progressing contract variations, proactively monitoring and managing suppliers' performance.
3. Actively manage, build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders; including working closely with suppliers to monitor and implement performance management regimes.
4. Apply clear and concise communication skills including preparation of correspondence, briefs, presentations and reports in response to priorities and direction.
5. Attend and facilitate when required, meetings with various stakeholders related to management of contracts including contract meetings with suppliers, governance and project working groups.
6. Manage reporting and payment processes with suppliers ensuring accurate analysis of claims, accurate recording of relevant data and provision of reports as required.
7. Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.

1. Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
2. Experience analysing data and using that analysis to inform decisions.
3. Experience in contract management, following contract processes and completing contract administration.
4. Ability to monitor and manage performance of contractual obligations, resolve disputes and performance issues with suppliers.
5. Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, government procurement and contract frameworks.
6. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
