Job description
In your new role you will:
* Work within a team of experts
* Explore and evaluate various possibilities of Python language for testing digital and mixed-signal circuits in industry-standard simulators
* Deal with industrial IC design flow and develop future extensions

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months
Profile
You successfully meet the requirements if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telematics with a focus on electronics or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
* Solid foundation in general programming
* Basic development skills in Linux/Unix-based environment (terminal, shell scripting, Git or another VCS)
* Mandatory experience with Python
* Experience with C/C++ is a plus
* Experience with any of IC and/or FPGA design and verification is a plus
* Any knowledge of VHDL, SystemVerilog and UVM is a huge advantage
* Fluent English
* High level of self-motivation and a tendency to develop and prove ideas, actively ask questions and look for answers
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students.
