They are seeking an experienced and strategic Centre Procurement Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation, ensuring their procurement processes are aligned with our values while driving efficiency and value for their network of centres.
About the Role
As the Centre Procurement Manager, you'll report directly to the Head of Procurement, you will be the 2IC and a key driver of procurement strategy, supplier relationships, and operational efficiencies with Centres at the focus.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive creative and strategic procurement solutions that go beyond cost savings, focusing on added value, rebates, and social purpose contributions.
* Manage relationships with over 40 suppliers, ensuring strong partnerships that align with Goodstart’s mission and values.
* Support initiatives such as supplier-sponsored programs (e.g. Goodies Awards and You Make the Difference campaign).
* Lead category management and procurement strategy development to improve efficiencies and outcomes for centres.
* Work in ensuring ethical and inclusive procurement practices.
* Support the implementation and optimisation of Coupa, their newly launched procurement system.
* Ensure compliance with Goodstart’s contracting and procurement framework, assisting in supplier contract development and management.
* Identify and drive initiatives, challenging traditional procurement methods to find better, more effective ways of working.
* Leverage data and analytics to provide insights and improve procurement decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
* 1-5 years of procurement experience, ideally with category management exposure.
* Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
* Commercially savvy mindset with the ability to drive value beyond cost savings.
* Creative problem-solving skills, with a passion for challenging the status quo and finding innovative procurement solutions.
* Analytical skills, including Excel modelling and data interpretation.
* A proactive, go-getter attitude - someone who sees opportunities and makes things happen.
* Experience in procurement systems such as Coupa (preferred but not essential).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a flexible and collaborative approach.
