* Construct a project schedule from start to finish by identifying long lead and specialty materials within the critical path of the project.
* Review drawings, identify scope, and develop the sequence of construction.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the status of every project.
* Work with the Estimator to develop bids and participate in project interviews.
* Review subcontractor/vendor proposals, compare proposals, and award projects to the most qualified subcontractors.
* Manage the project budget and overall profit margins. Revise monthly projects – WIP, and collect payments.
* Prepare for and run weekly progress meetings, identifying important discussion topics and assigning tasks to effectively manage the project.
* Attend industry, social, and non-profit events to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
* Proactively build and sustain relationships with clients.
* Promote safety and ensure that the project adheres to our safety requirements.
* Work with the on-site Superintendent to deliver the highest possible quality and customer satisfaction.
* Successfully complete projects to maximize profit and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
* Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in ground-up wood-frame construction projects.
* Possess a 4 Year Degree from an accredited university within the Engineering, Construction Management, or Business concentration.
* Mastery of reading blueprint drawings/specifications.
* Previous experience in a Project Management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
* Demonstrated business acumen with strong presentation skills.
* Ability to maintain composure, professionalism, and objectivity in difficult situations and effectively resolve conflicts.
* Collaborate and foster relationships with a customer service-oriented attitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and Adobe.
