As a Supplier Engineer, you'll play a vital role with suppliers across organization functions to resolve technical, quality, and production challenges. You'll have the opportunity to develop excellence in product design and manufacturing with mechatronics supply chain.
We're looking for a result-driven, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who can support internal and external customers. This individual should be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities while working independently in a close-knit team setting.
The tasks involve coordinating investigation of key quality defects, driving supplier improvement, acting as liaison for cross-functional projects, auditing and documenting supply base performance, collaborating on supply development, leading project timelines, and providing technical support to suppliers.
You should have a university degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and experience in areas such as mechatronics, automation, robotics, or fluid dynamics. Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities are essential, along with a solid understanding of statistical process control and equipment manufacturing processes.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Semiconductor equipment, effective communication and presentation skills, statistical analysis skills, and knowledge in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
