To enhance our production team in Vienna / Austria, we are looking for a
Production Manager / Solar and Electronics (m/f/d)
to oversee, optimize, and further develop our production team and facilities.
YOUR ROLE:
As the Production Manager, you will oversee the entire production process of our solar-powered products and components, ensuring that manufacturing processes meet the highest quality standards, deadlines, and cost targets. You will lead the entire production team while implementing best manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and optimize resources.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee the entire production process of electromechanical components such as electronics, luminaires, and photovoltaic modules ensuring high-quality output.
* Lead and manage the production team of up to 20 production staff, ensuring performance, training, and development.
* Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflow optimization.
* Monitor production processes, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Coordinate production schedules, projects, and resources to meet deadlines and production targets.
* Collaborate with the R&D and design teams to improve product manufacturability.
* Maintain accurate production reports and analyze performance metrics to inform decision-makers.
* Plan maintenance and repair of machinery and operational resources.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
* Technical college or bachelor’s degree with focus on production, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a production management role, preferably in electromechanical manufacturing, e.g. in the lighting or photovoltaics industry.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate production teams.
* Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) software.
* Proven ability to improve production processes, increasing productivity, capacity and utilization.
* Strong understanding of industry regulations, quality control standards, and safety guidelines.
* Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.

The minimum annual salary (based on the Austrian Collective Agreement) amounts to some € 63,000. The actual salary is higher and is aligned to professional experience and qualification.
