No1 Property Guide is looking for a highly motivated and passionate HR Manager and People & Culture expert to join our team and help in growing and developing the people and culture here at No1 Property Guide.
Working from our waters-edge Broadbeach office, you will primarily be responsible for building and developing company culture, handling employee reviews, hiring and firing processes, building and growing the HR team, and general day-to-day HR duties.
What you’ll be doing:
* Foster & cultivate a positive culture & workplace environment
* Manage employee relations & resolve employee conflicts
* Take control of candidate recruitment, selection, & termination, to ensure company culture & objectives are met & maintained
* Develop onboarding & offboarding processes
* Work with leadership team to develop the company culture
* Create & maintain company policies that meet legislative requirements
* Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, employment standards, & Fair Work obligations
What we're looking for:
* 5+ years of experience in HR or a similar role
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact & maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels
* Excellent problem-solving & critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide practical & pragmatic HR solutions
* Strong knowledge of contemporary People & Culture practices
* Strong organisational & time management skills
* Well-developed written communication skills with experience preparing reports for senior management
* Sound knowledge of Government legislation impacting HR
* Strong ability to communicate articulately, both verbal & written
* You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Ability to work autonomously & take full ownership of HR processes & recruitment functions
* Strong background in developing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates & managing candidate pipelines
* A solid understanding of employment legislation
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is highly desirable but not required
