The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Field Quality Manager to lead audits, manage schedules, and monitor quality performance both on-site and remotely. You will play a key role in ensuring all work meets the technical standards of our delivery projects, helping drive excellence and maintain high-quality results. The position is based in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor daily progress of work and prepare regular reports (daily/weekly/monthly) to assess contract deliverables.
* Conduct site audits as directed and ensure compliance with nbn process guidance.
* Track and report on contractor progress and quality.
* Collaborate with the delivery team to prepare supporting documents for variations and claims.
* Assist with closing non-conforming items (NCR) and implement remedial improvement plans.
* Attend site meetings, pre-starts, and relevant governance sessions, along with other duties as required.
Essential Skills / Qualifications/Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Control or equivalent, with a strong safety record and knowledge of OH&S.
* Current National Police Clearance, valid Driver’s License (“C” Class), OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card, and relevant certifications (Traffic Management, Working in Confined Spaces).
* Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and technical nbn training.
* Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and make effective decisions.
* Knowledge of telecommunications network designs, hybrid connection technology, and ability to interpret Scope of Work and design drawings.
* Familiar with SpatialNet and other project delivery software, with solid knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
