Main Responsibilities:
1. Technical Oversight:
Provide technical leadership and guidance in the deployment of wireless (e.g., 4G/5G) and fixed network (e.g., FTTH) technologies.
Ensure that all network installations comply with industry standards, regulations, and Huawei’s quality assurance policies.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential challenges and propose solutions.
2. Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential risks to project timelines, budget, and quality.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks and minimize impact on project delivery.
Monitor and report on risk status to senior management and stakeholders.
3. Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all network installations meet Huawei’s stringent standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of installation sites to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee testing and commissioning of network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
Forecast resource requirements and coordinate the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
Track and report on project expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.
Ensure all project documentation is stored and managed in accordance with Huawei’s policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of wireless and fixed network technologies and infrastructure.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
* PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
* Willingness to travel as required by project demands.
