Redland Residential Care (RRC)
Redland Residential Care comprises four separate units co-located on the Redland Hospital site at Cleveland. All units may house permanent residents who are also participants of NDIS.
* Daintree/Boronia is a combined unit which includes Daintree with 15 Psychogeriatric beds and Boronia, a 16-bed step down behaviour unit.
* Acacia is a 31-bed secure dementia specific unit that houses complex mobile residents.
* Blue Gum is a 32-bed complex frail aged unit which accommodates residents with complex chronic health conditions.
* Red Gum is a mixed 32-bed unit accommodating 16 residential transition care program places targeting restorative rehabilitation.
Residents on Acacia often experience moderate to severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD). The unit provides a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery with a focus on residents' rights and choices.
