Head of Application Management
You will join our global ICT management team, responsible for internal software development in an agile environment, support, traditional IT/OT operations, cyber security, digital architecture, project and programme management, as well as application management of standard software solutions. PALFINGER ICT provides comprehensive ICT services for our internal users worldwide and is accountable for product-supporting and product-complementing software solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead a global team (5 direct reports, overall responsibility for 30 employees) responsible for planning and implementing the standard software application landscape within the company.
* Coordinate planning, implementation, and standardization with PALFINGER's internal customers in the process and data organization.
* Budget responsibility and cost control.
* Manage external partners in the implementation process.
* Introduce continuous improvements to increase implementation speed without compromising stability.
Your Qualifications:
* Several years of leadership experience with a global team.
* Track record in application development implementation - SAP ERP experience; knowledge of Dynamics, Success Factors, Team Center, Windchill is an advantage.
* Experience in managing external partners using KPIs and business management knowledge for cost management and budget planning.
* Analytical skills, decisiveness, and systemic thinking.
* Willingness to travel globally for SAP rollouts; fluent in German and English.

The minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 65,432.36 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
