As part of the route control product development team you are responsible for the technical coordination of the development and integration of components for new versions of interlocking solutions. Join us now at Hitachi Rail in Austria YOUR CHALLENGE Leading a test team of 10 people in Vienna Responsible for skill management, setting the strategy, and monitoring progress towards goals. Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and delegation skills Contributing to the creation of project plans regarding scope, timelines, efforts, costs and dependencies in strong cooperation with the program management Support the test team to keep the technical project milestone to achieve goals and meet or exceed customer expectations Establish trust with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, eliminating non-value-added activities and blockers and also finding creative ways to accelerate project delivery Communicate status and critical issues clearly in a short and concise format Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as necessary Working in the area of safety critical systems YOUR PROFILE Technical education, preferably Master studies in Computer Science or similar Minimum 5 years' experience in test and team management for software engineering projects Experience in testing for traditional and agile software development Experience in an industrial sector like automotive, telecom or process control as well as knowledge of safety critical systems, especially rail signaling systems, are considered beneficial ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification is an advantage Project management knowledge is considered as beneficial Experience with CENELEC standards is a plus Competitive mindset, strong desire to "win" paired with a great team spirit Excellent communication in English language, German language beneficial WE OFFER The salary for this position starts at EUR 70.000 gross p.a.
