ICSV is currently seeking a full-time Development Manager to join our team on 1 August 2025 or earlier.
In this role, the development manager is responsible for leading the school’s development program as adopted by the School Board and will be reporting directly to the School Director. (S)he is also responsible for developing and maintaining active and productive relationships with staff members, donors, alumni, and the school’s local community as appropriate and promoting the school’s mission to both internal constituencies and the community at large. (S)he will use expert communication skills and a sense of initiative to identify fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, design and implement fundraising campaigns throughout the calendar year, and reach ICSV’s financial goals through major gifts.
The ICSV development manager must be motivated, self-driven, creative, professional, and organized. We are looking for someone who believes in the mission of our school and has exceptional drive for furthering our fundraising efforts, as well as strategizing and reaching our fundraising goals.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in communications, marketing, business, public relations, or related field
* Preferably, at least three to five years of experience in organizing fundraising (donation programs, capital campaigns, etc.) in a not-for-profit development role
* Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
* Have an understanding of international Christian education
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
* Committed to support ICSV’s Christian mission and faith-based education
* Willing to honor and uphold all standards outlined in the Faculty Handbook
* Able to sign the ICSV Statement of Faith
* Active member of a church that supports the school’s Statement of Faith
* Must have experience in development work or be willing to attend ongoing professional development training
* The ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with board members, donors, parents, administrators, and faculty
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
* The ability to carefully listen with an empathetic understanding for the funders’ needs and interests
* The ability to meet deadlines and work independently with little or no supervision
* The ability to successfully balance priorities while managing multiple tasks and planning multiple events
* The ability to be resourceful, optimistic, innovative, and flexible to embrace new opportunities
* The ability to work as a leader and as part of a team
* Highly organized and detail-oriented
* An enthusiasm for pioneering and creating new materials and resources, and in some cases, adapting existing materials for use in fundraising for ICSV
