Position: Technical Project Manager – Retail POS Software PlatformPosition Summary:We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the implementation of a Retail POS Software Platform, ensuring its readiness for rollout and successful transition to live operations. The TPM will oversee end-to-end delivery, aligning with strategic objectives and collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the implementation process. After go-live, the TPM will work within a Store Technology Squad, driving feature development to enhance platform capabilities.Key Responsibilities:1. Implementation and Platform Readiness (Pre-Go-Live):Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery and readiness for rollout.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external teams, including vendors and customers, to define requirements and align expectations.Platform Deployment & Integration: Oversee deployment, configuration, and testing to ensure the platform integrates seamlessly with business processes and meets SLAs.Resource Coordination: Manage resources across technical, development, and operations teams to drive successful implementation.Risk & Issue Management: Identify and address risks proactively to ensure project success.2. Transition to Operational Handover:Handover Coordination: Partner with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure a smooth transition to live operations, including documentation, training, and support.Operational Readiness Validation: Confirm that all necessary tools, processes, and systems are in place for steady-state operations.3. Post-Go-Live Feature Development (Store Technology Squad):Agile Backlog Management: Work within the squad to prioritize and deliver features from the backlog, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements to platform functionality, performance, and user experience through iterative development.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, testers, and product managers to ensure seamless feature delivery.Required Skills and Experience:Proven experience managing complex software platform implementations, preferably in retail POS or similar environments.Strong technical knowledge of software development, integration, and deployment processes.Expertise in project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum.Exceptional stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional team management skills.Experience in risk management, resource planning, and transition planning for live operations.Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on adapting to changing priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
