We are actively seeking to appoint a dynamic experienced Sheetmetal Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Laverton North site in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. The successful candidate will need to have availability across both Day and Afternoon shifts.

About your new exciting role with us:
* Under the guidance of our site manager, you will supervise, lead and mentor our afternoon team
* Manage the afternoon production workflow to meet volume, capacity and deadlines via a great team
* Allocate labour resources to meet demand including recruitment of vacant positions
* Drive the afternoon team's performance, QA, Safety, and production success
* Track and report the afternoon team's KPI’s, waste, folds, flashings, claddings, jobbing, coil adjustments, safety and compliance daily to meet afternoon shift quality, safety, and quantity requirements.
* Ensure output meets quality standards
* Proactively encourage health and safety culture
* Maintain high standards of OHS
* Support the site manager in facilitating the creation of a high people performance culture through weekly meetings and one-on-one coaching and training
* Collaborate with diverse stakeholders
* Constantly train, develop, and monitor the team's skills, capabilities and safety in Rollforming, slitting, jobbing, Sheetmetal fabrication.
About you:
* A dynamic people person who enjoys the challenges of manufacturing within Sheetmetal.
* An extraordinaire capable of navigating the Sheetmetal production manufacturing environment
* A passion for team success
* Minimum 2 years’ supervisor level experience within manufacturing Sheetmetal / Rollforming related industry
* Trade/Engineering qualification (or equivalent) highly regarded, but not necessary
* Sound interpersonal, organisational, and computer skills
