About the job
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Track, analyze, and interpret new and evolving regulations, focusing on product safety, labeling, extended producer responsibilities, and ESG requirements.
* Evaluate legal requirements for introducing new product categories and ensure readiness for market entry.
* Work closely with Legal counsels, Product Compliance, Sustainability, Product Development, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to interpret regulations and embed compliance across all stages.
* Define labelling, warning and safety notice requirements, check user manuals and leaflets, and review materials to check compliance with requirements, including sustainability claims.
* Conduct detailed analysis of regulatory updates, assess the impact on the organization’s operations, provide recommendations for compliance and support its implementation.
* Identify compliance risks, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies across the product lifecycle.
* Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures that ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and deliver training on compliance topics, ensuring employees are informed about relevant regulations and policies.
About you
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
* University degree in Law, Product Compliance Certification or Compliance Certification would be a competitive asset.
* 3-5 years of professional experience in Compliance, preferably with focus on product compliance in the consumer goods business and the luxury industry.
* Strong knowledge of global regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail, especially when interpreting legal texts and preparing reports.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong organizational and project management abilities.
* Proficiency in English.
* Proficiency in German would be an asset.
