Facilities Manager
This is a Full Time Permanent position at our Pimpama Campus.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. To manage the grounds & buildings maintenance teams by ensuring they have jobs to do and ensuring they have tools, equipment and materials to do the assigned work. Use the system provided to manage jobs & scheduled work
2. Ensure “Front of school” is maintained to high standards at all times
3. When required, co-ordinate the team to bump in & bump out events and any other manual tasks required by the school.
4. Ensure all team members follow best practice on ways of working Safely as per Australian Standards at all times.
5. Respond immediately to any unsafe conditions noted anywhere within the school property by anyone. Safety of every person on our campuses is paramount.
6. Arrange regular meetings with a spiritual emphasis for the team and ensure the team’s attendance at such meetings as well as any campus staff wide such meetings.
7. Take overall responsibility for campus traffic management.
8. Manage contractors on site doing maintenance (i.e. their delivery of the work, behaviour on site e.t.c.)
9. Ensure all equipment used by the maintenance team is maintained & serviced where needed.
10. Raise Purchase requisitions on the system according to school procedures on best purchasing practice
11. Work with other specialist positions that do maintenance and projects on the campus.
12. Anything requested by the Group Maintenance Manager or Campus Principal that’s in keeping with the overall school objectives.

ABOUT OUR COLLEGE
King’s is an expanding, multi-Campus school that places paramount importance on the development of the whole child, with a particular focus on providing every student the opportunity to develop Christian Leadership skills that will prepare them for their future. Our programs challenge and shape students’ thinking and understanding of their role in the world.
Our College currently consists of 3 dynamic campuses, with several more campuses in the planning stages, serving the communities in which they are located.
The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2300 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1200 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.

King's is a Christian school. We were founded by a group of parents from King's Church and our Christian ethos is woven through everything that we do. We operate from 3 campuses.
Our Reedy Creek campus opened in 1980 and provides a quality learning environment for Pre Kindy to Year 12 and a Trade Training Centre, all on the one campus. Our Pimpama campus opened in 2015 and offers Pre Kindy to Year 12. Our Logan Village campus opened in 2020 and offers Pre Kindy to Year 8 (with a new year level added annually).
