An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic individual with experience in quality improvement and management to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the Quality & Risk Manager will facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital's clinical safety and quality framework. This is a full-time role Monday - Friday, located in beautiful Southport.
They will lead the coordination of quality improvement initiatives, projects and activities to maintain patient safety, accreditation standards, regulatory compliance and patient experience, in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the organization.

As a Quality & Risk Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility wide quality improvement program and to promote risk management to support the strategic direction.
* Be responsible for and lead short notice accreditation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
* Responsible and lead for quality and clinical Governance outcomes.
* Ensuring the hospital operates in accordance with applicable standards and complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as striving for continuous improvement.
* The coordination and implementation of the infection control program to ensure high quality patient care and staff safety in infection control.
* Monitoring and reporting of Patient Experience including management of patient complaints.
* Adapt to operational requirements.
* Authority to Work in Australia.
* Immunisation Certificate.
* Experience in Quality & Risk Management.
* Bachelor of Nursing with relevant post-graduate qualification, or tertiary qualification in Quality Management.
* Lead or extensive experience in Hospital Accreditation to ACSQHC National standards.
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.
* Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive, motivated and customer focused.
