Rail Cargo Austria AG is driving forward the digitalisation of the industry in Europe with the CARGO 1492 programme and the MIKE logistics platform. The aim is to create a holistic and uncomplicated logistics solution from customers to the respective service providers, which is thus an important contribution to the transport turnaround and to achieving climate targets.
We are currently looking for an IT Domain Architect (m/w/x) for the domain "Customer Services" in the Rail Logistics department.
Your Tasks
* Design and implementation of an architectural target image for our systems in rail logistics, in particular for the newly developed logistics platform MIKE
* Derive technical solution strategies and architecture designs based on product requirements and ensure reshuffle, together with the product manager and agile delivery teams
* Active participation in overarching IT architecture initiatives
* Conducting proof-of-concepts and feasibility analyses
* Support in the replacement of existing technologies
* Support through architecture checks for new IT demands/requirements
* Active member of the ÖBB architecture community
* Participation in international railway committees in which you contribute to shaping the industry
Your Profile
* Few years of professional experience in the field of IT, logistics or railway technology, together with a university or college degree or equivalent
* You have experience in domain architecture in agile digitalization projects and are comfortable with state-of-the-art IT technologies (public and private cloud, IP, interface definition, etc.)
* You have expeience in the further development of service-oriented architecture and the design of cloud architecture
* You want to shape topics independently and make decisions
* You are communicative, enjoy working with people and are characterized by the ability to work in a team, reliability and personal commitment
* You can easily communicate with an international team in English and have a solid knowledge of the German language

* A minimum salary of €51,581.32 gross/year is provided for the position "Sen. Spez. Enterpr./InfoSec. Architektur" (according to the collective rail company agreement). Depending on qualifications and professional experience, the salary can be above the collective agreement level, starting at € 56,000.00 gross/year full time (38,5 hours).
