CAD Engineer/Konstrukteur
About the Role
As a CAD Engineer/Konstrukteur, you will be part of a dynamic team to execute projects crucial to decarbonization of Vienna by 2040.
* Modernisation of existing energy generation facilities (e.g. upgrading waste incineration plants)
* Construction of new alternative energy generation plants (e.g. large heat pumps, geothermal, wind farms)
* Construction of hydrogen production facilities (e.g. electrolysers)
* Construction of combined generation plants for heating and cooling energy as well as electricity
* Construction of seasonal heat storage facilities
* Construction of waste handling facilities contributing to the circular economy (e.g. phosphorus recovery)
Key Responsibilities
* Support the project team by drawing concept designs and creating project drawings in the field of plant and mechanical engineering (2D floor plans and sections, 3D isometrics and representations) in the design, approval and tender planning phases
* Create plant layouts taking into account the requirements for operability and maintainability of plant components, worker protection and escape route situation
* Coordinate different trades (integration of supplier drawing documents, coordination of media supply and connections, collision checks) and implement constructive interface management with the help of 3D modelling and visualization tools
* Create project drawings in the field of industrial plant construction (e.g. general drawings for steel construction incl. grating platforms, staircases, specifications for concrete construction, layout drawings for plant components such as tanks)
* Optional: draw P&IDs and process diagramms according to process engineering specifications
* Further develop and maintain internal CAD standards and manuals
* Closely collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers
Your New Team
You and your team will benefit from promotion of a Scandinavian inspired working culture in a new Austrian joint venture with a high degree of flexibility and an informal and dynamic working environment.

* Experience as a technical draftsman in 2D and 3D piping and plant design within the energy or chemical sector, e.g. contributing to the design of power plants, waste-to-energy plants, refineries, chemical and pharmaceutical production plants (gas, steam, compressed air, HVAC, fire extinguishing systems and/or other utilities)
* Optional, experience as a technical draftsman 2D and 3D in the construction industry in the field of industrial steelwork and concrete works in the energy or chemical sector
* Familiarity with 3D design and modelling tools (AutoCAD 3D, E3D, REVIT or similar)
* Optional: BIM in the area of plant and mechanical engineering
* Solid knowledge of piping design codes and industry standards
