Surf Life Saving Queensland is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing & Brand Manager to lead our innovative marketing and communications team. What You'll Do:
As the Marketing & Brand Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind SLSQ’s marketing strategy, ensuring we deliver on our goals while promoting our mission. You’ll lead a talented team, guiding them to success through creative and effective marketing initiatives.
* Lead & Inspire: mentor and develop a high-performing team, setting clear objectives, and overseeing the execution of powerful marketing campaigns.
* Innovate: continuously drive creative, innovative ideas to elevate SLSQ’s marketing and communications efforts.
* Strategize: work closely with senior leadership to align marketing plans with our broader goals and vision, particularly in areas like Commercial First Aid courses.
* Champion the Brand: ensure our messaging and visual identity are consistent across all platforms, keeping SLSQ’s brand strong and vibrant.
* Crisis Management: be an integral part of our crisis communications strategy, supporting efforts to protect and manage our reputation.
* Community Focused: support local clubs with promotional and fundraising initiatives to strengthen our presence and engagement in communities across Queensland.
* Measure & Improve: monitor campaign performance, sponsorship outcomes, and marketing ROI to continually refine strategies and tactics.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Working with children blue card or the ability to obtain one.
* Experience: minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, demonstrating your expertise in high level marketing and communications.
* Leadership Skills: proven experience in team management, empowering others to achieve excellence and manage stakeholder relationships.
* Project Management Expertise: exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
* Marketing & Brand Strategy: a strong background in working with established brands, executing marketing, sales, and communications strategies.
* Passion for Our Mission: an understanding of Surf Life Saving principles is a bonus, but your commitment to making a difference is essential.
* Creative & Analytical Mindset: a solid grasp of current media trends, digital content creation, and the ability to translate insights into action.
