Responsibilities
1. Conceptualize, design & develop packaging components, including boxes, labels and logos
2. Develop creative solutions for packaging needs, while maintaining design integrity and sales/marketing objectives
3. Work on projects for a large variety of consumer products, ranging from cameras and photography equipment, to lifestyle accessories & fashion products
4. Create packaging dummies and simulations, review drop-tests and perform quality control
5. Preparation of layouts, die cuts and production of packaging prints
6. Develop tradeshow booth, exhibitions and retail designs
7. Create detailed project plans with timelines
8. Project management of print materials
9. Collaborate closely with the print & graphic designers, visual merchandising designers, product managers, sourcing team, sales & marketing team
10. Remain up to date on new packaging trends, materials and technology, including especially environmental-friendly solutions
Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree in Graphic design, Industrial Design or similar
2. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and any other design software
3. 2-3 years of relevant work experience
4. Understanding of material behavior, especially paper and cardboard
5. Ability to imagine and conceptualize in three-dimensions
6. Knowledge of manufacturing / packaging production processes
7. Passion for and knowledge of Lomography and analogue photography is a plus
8. Ability to work autonomously and possess strong self-organization skills, as well as the ability to work in a team
9. Ability to solve problems and think outside of the box

Employment
1. Full time
2. Start date: as soon as possible
3. According to collective agreement this position will be paid with a minimum gross salary of 14 × EUR 2.124 a year, including social benefits, plus employee benefit fund deposits. Depending on qualifications and experience, overpayment is of course possible.
