Colorspan are on the hunt for a driven and dynamic Transport & Logistics Manager to join the team at our site in Tullamarine and lead our supply chain operations.
From managing warehouses to overseeing transportation and distribution, this role is key to ensuring our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with a huge focus on top-notch customer service and safety compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Lead & Inspire: Manage and motivate logistics, material planning, and 3PL teams, fostering a safety-first culture.
2. Transport & Fleet Management: Optimise routes, manage fleet maintenance, and handle 3PL agreements for smooth, on-time deliveries.
3. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with CoR and HVNL, performing regular audits and maintaining fleet certifications.
4. Customer Relationship Management: Build strong customer relationships by ensuring timely deliveries and resolving issues quickly.
5. Continuous Improvement: Drive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives while tracking key performance metrics.
6. Team Development: Lead with coaching, training, and feedback to help your team excel.
7. Financial Management: Oversee budgets, payroll, and expenses to ensure cost-effective logistics operations.

What Colorspan are looking for:
1. Experience: You’ve got at least 5 years of experience managing transport and logistics operations, with solid leadership skills. Fleet operations, logistics software (TMS), and inventory management are your bread and butter.
2. Skills & Knowledge: You’re a logistics guru who knows all about CoR, HVNL, transport optimisation, and safety regulations. You’re also a pro at communication, problem-solving, and keeping customers happy.
3. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or something similar. Bonus points for certifications in logistics or transport management and any heavy vehicle or forklift licenses!
4. Leadership: You’re a hands-on leader who knows how to motivate your team, keep things safe, and boost performance.
5. Customer Focus: You know how to juggle client expectations, hit deadlines, and deliver top-tier customer satisfaction.
