This role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in the community by contributing to the development of a well-functioning, integrated transport system.About the roleThe Head of Infrastructure Services is responsible for providing operational and strategic support to optimise business operations within the Infrastructure division. This role involves streamlining various support functions, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring consistent communication of strategic information. The position also supports the Director of Infrastructure in developing and executing divisional plans and initiatives to achieve organisational objectives.Key accountabilities include:Lead and optimise a high-performing operational support team.Manage budget and resources efficiently.Develop and implement effective operational systems.Drive impactful business cases and strategic initiatives.Ensure clear and timely communication of business information.Coordinate procurement and manage sensitive issues.Identify and mitigate operational risks.Foster strong stakeholder relationships and manage responses to State requests.About youThe Head of Infrastructure Services role will be a strategic leader with a strong background in business operations and management. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. You will have a proven track record in strategic and business planning, as well as experience in leading high-performing teams.
