About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a reliable and hardworking Production Operator with high attention to detail to join the team at DoseAid - Mansfield.
This opportunity is an Afternoon shift (2:24pm -10:30pm).
You can expect to work Monday - Friday, minimum 5 days/week, with some Saturday work (overtime) available.
This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing conveniently packed medication and will require you to do light assembly work.
What you will do:
* Lead small production teams running manufacturing machines to meet KPI's in a fast-paced environment.
* Work with Team leader to roster/delegate tasks to team members.
* Troubleshoot production problems.
* Improve production processes.
* De-packaging of medication from original packaging.
* Filling machine cassettes with required medication.
* Operating automated tablet dispensing systems.
* Rolling, bagging of sachets in preparation for dispatch.
* Inspection and correction of blisters and sachets.
What we are looking for:
* Ability to lead a team, providing guidance and coaching to develop and grow staff.
* Ability to manage a team, allocating and delegating tasks to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Ability to solve problems and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate between shifts and departments.
* Excellent attention to detail; experience in a GMP or HACCP environment would be ideal.
* Be an effective team player contributing to performance targets.
* Ability to read, follow and enforce work instructions.
* Confident in Microsoft Office, particularly Teams and Excel.
* Strong safety mindset.
* Can-do attitude.
