About the Role
As an established finance professional, in this newly created role you will drive process improvement and reporting capability across the finance function. Reporting to the General Manager Finance Business Services, the Finance Manager – Business Services (R2R) will focus on streamlining processes within ABN Group’s ERP to enhance data quality and reporting outcomes. Success will rely on strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring timely, accurate reporting aligned to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement internal measures, KPIs and SLAs to track performance and deliver accurate reporting for informed decision making.
* Provide commentary on periodic performance, helping to deliver a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
* Work with the broader ABN team to implement a new finance transformation.
* Develop team members, helping to uplift reporting capability and accuracy.
* Oversee financial transactions to ensure accurate recording and compliance with appropriate standards.
* Map, review and improve processes in the accounting system.
* Manage accounting processes to ensure accuracy in output.
* Own financial reports, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
* Provide critical input into the policies and procedures for the management and integrity of finance master data.
About You
You will be an analytical and proactive financial professional with strong technical skills and a passion for leveraging data to drive business success. You will have strong experience in analysing, mapping and improving financial reporting processes and providing accurate information to key stakeholders. You will have the ability to bring team members along the journey and ensure key stakeholder engagement.
* CA / CPA qualified.
* Experience of analysing, improving and implementing new processes across all financial accounting functions.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
* Must have a proven history of building efficient and accurate financial reports, ideally within a shared services environment.
* An ability to engage with high level stakeholders and understand their requirements, aligning services to better meet demands.
* Experience in business process re-engineering and leading period-close procedures.
* Experience of leading a team and uplifting capability.
