Role Overview:
As the Services Manager, you will be instrumental in optimising the financial performance of our shopping centres. Your role focuses on managing contracts, budgets, and daily operations to enhance centre presentation and functionality. Balancing cost-effective outcomes with a sustainable, safe, and clean environment is crucial to enhancing the customer and retailer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Management:
o Lead in-centre contractor engagements to consistently exceed KPIs.
o Foster collaborative relationships with contractors and key stakeholders.
o Establish proactive relationships with internal teams for cohesive operations.
2. Compliance and Standards:
o Participate in budgeting and forecasting, meeting targets within timelines.
o Ensure timely completion of compliance and reporting requirements.
o Coordinate emergency responses and investigations to stakeholder satisfaction.
o Uphold safety practices and business standards.
3. Customer Service:
o Ensure team meets customer needs and enhances service delivery.
o Review work processes regularly for improvements.
4. Team Leadership:
o Develop direct reports through training and development.
o Monitor team performance and conduct appraisals aligned with business expectations.
Person Specification:
* Proven facilities management experience in retail, property, or related industries.
* Strong data creation and interpretation skills with a focus on accuracy.
* Ability to perform manual tasks as needed.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
