Quality Manager (Supply & Production) - A Key Role at Hilti
About the Job
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our strategic initiatives by enhancing internal production and supplier quality for product and process releases, driving new product development, and leading systematic process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* SUPPORT INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PRODUCTION QUALITY ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT ACTIONS.
* TRANSLATE CUSTOMER AND PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS INTO QUALITY MANAGEMENT CONTROL MECHANISMS.
* CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE THE SUPPLY QUALITY SYSTEM AND KEY BUSINESS PROCESSES.
* ASSIST IN SUPPLIER AUDITING, RELEASES, AND SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGEMENT.
* SUPPORT PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES.
* MANAGE AND HANDLE COMPLAINTS.
* LEAD ESCALATIONS FOR CRITICAL QUALITY ISSUES.
* LEAD PROBLEM-SOLVING TEAMS FOR ESCALATED QUALITY CONCERNS.

Requirements
* University degree in an engineering discipline with 3+ years of experience in SQE or related roles.
* Expertise in international quality and environmental standards, advanced experience as a Senior Supplier Auditor.
* Knowledge of legal risks and implications for supplier and customer contracts, with a sound technical understanding of aluminum material.
* Experience in the PPAP process, fluent in English (B2 level minimum), and advanced German Skills.
* Ability to develop testing concepts, procedures, and conduct sample inspections, willingness to travel 30-40% within Europe.
