Are you a skilled Program Delivery Manager with a passion for digital science and scientific computing solutions? This is your opportunity to lead high-impact eResearch initiatives supporting the advancement of scientific and technological capability. As an eResearch Program Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and management of complex projects that drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of eResearch programs, ensuring successful delivery of S&T capability through Digital Science and Scientific Computing solutions.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and researchers to define program scope, deliverables, resources, and schedules.
* Budget and Resource Management: Oversee program financials, including securing and allocating resources, monitoring spend, and making necessary adjustments to stay within budget.
* Team Leadership: Guide multiple eResearch project managers, ensuring successful delivery of program goals and outcomes. Foster collaboration between internal and external teams.
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, ensuring overall program integrity and quality assurance.
* Change Management: Partner with organizational change managers to develop and implement effective communication and change management artefacts to support program delivery.
* Governance Compliance: Apply agreed-upon frameworks to ensure solutions are defined, developed, and managed in a consistent, governed manner.

* Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, including presenting to executive sponsors and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
* Organisational Excellence: Strong organisational skills with experience leading, motivating, and managing diverse teams while holding them accountable for results.
* Experience with Budget Management: Proficiency in managing project budgets, financial resources, and third-party contributions.
Essential Criteria:
* Experience in presenting to executive sponsors and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proven organisational and leadership skills in managing teams and ensuring performance accountability.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and the ability to apply them as needed.
* Demonstrated success in leading projects/programs to be on-time, on-budget, and with positive outcomes.
* Experience working creatively and analytically to resolve business problems, identify priorities, and make decisions.
