Quality Manager, Austria (f/m/d)
With a principal development & operation site in Austria (Carinthia) and sales representatives in various key markets, our client is poised for growth on a global footprint and is executing his mission to become an internationally branded high-tech equipment provider in the semiconductor industry. The quality and innovative products are in the global supply chain of emerging technologies.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance of products and Quality Control of material and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
* Manufacturing Quality: Ensure Products meet internal spec, Customer spec and Industrial requirements
* Supplier Quality: Ensure Equipment, Direct/Indirect material, Parts meet the specification
* Customer Quality: Drive customer incidents problem solving and case reduction
* Ensure customer audits with satisfaction
* Ensure products meet industry and customer’s quality specifications
* Ensure operation manual with clear instruction
* Support and collaborate with engineering to further develop specifications according to our product requirements and industrial requirements.
* Reliability: Ensure products meet the internal/ industrial reliability requirements
* Failure Analysis: Lead problem solving team to perform failure analysis and find out the failure root cause and apply countermeasures to prevent similar problems from happening again
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
* 5 years plus quality engineer experience and 3 years plus semiconductor industry experience
* Integrity and professionalism. Implementing and adhering to policies and procedures, including financial controls, accounting, human resources, and purchasing.
* Excellent leadership with good communication and organization skills
* Fluent in English and German
