About the Position
This part-time position (36 hours/week) starts on April 01, 2025, and ends after 3 years. The WU Competence Center for Experimental Research is a cross-disciplinary institution at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, with the purpose to further the experimental method in business and economics, and to run the WU Experimental Research Laboratories (WULABS). The laboratory infrastructure consists of a large lab with 32 seats, a smaller lab with 12 seats, an eye tracker/bio-physical devices lab as well as an audio lab with five soundproof cabins.
Responsibilities
* Support the running of the laboratories and consult other researchers on the use of the experimental method.
* Conduct research and contribute significantly to the research area.
* Maintenance of technical laboratory infrastructure.
* Development of procedures and rules for laboratory use.
* Administration of online recruitment system, and recruitment of participants.
* Organizational support for running experiments.
* Programming of laboratory administration applications.
* Administrative support for the director of the competence center.
Requirements
* Solid academic qualification (PhD or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.
* Evidence of research quality.
* Ample experience in applying the experimental method in business or economics.
* IT background and skills necessary to run and administrate an experimental laboratory.
