Extent of employment:
* 20 hours per week
Main Tasks:
* Teaching: In team and self-responsible teaching of courses and workshops in the field of lightweight structures according to the assignment to the amount of 8h/semester; participation in the supervision of final theses, participation and independent preparation and follow-up of teaching and its results.
* Research: Research-led teaching in the field of lightweight structures; collaboration on research topics in the field of lightweight structures, including corresponding publication activities; collaboration in scientific publication, the application for research funding projects and collaboration in approved research funding projects of the lightweight structures unit.
* Administration: Organizational and administrative tasks in the lightweight structures unit as well as participation in training and further education, active and passive participation in scientifically relevant events, further education and workshops relevant to the subject.
Expertise, competences and requirements:
* Completed graduate or master's degree in architecture and/or engineering and/or related disciplines.
* In-depth knowledge of architectural design especially in the context of structural conception, in-depth understanding of geometry and sustainable materialization combined with the ability to conceptualize and implement these aspects in research-led teaching in the field of lightweight construction.
* Creativity, innovative, analytical thinking, and strong interest in multidisciplinary teaching and research topics and methodology.
* Interest and skills in architectural and structural simulation of innovative structures and their fabrication processes including associated manual skills and relevant software skills.
* Experience and interest in digital and physical model studies at a wide range of scales up to 1:1 prototyping.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, keen interest in multidisciplinarity and working with students.
* Above average commitment, sense of responsibility and motivation.
* International experience, experience with experimental studies and test buildings, and/or practice relevant to the topic are considered advantageous merits for the application.
* The above competencies and skills must be clearly demonstrated in a portfolio (in digital format) attached to the application.
* Excellent command in English is prerequisite.

For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.789 per month (14 times)* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
