YOUR PROFILE
• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Experience in FPGA and/or ASIC development, especially verification
• Solid knowledge of HDL languages (SystemVerilog and VHDL)
• Practical experience with verification frameworks and simulation tools
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Confidence in cross-functional collaboration (e.g., architecture, software, algorithm development)
• Passion for working close to the hardware and understanding of low-level system behavior
• Ideally, experience with major FPGA families (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Lattice, Efinix)
• Experience with testbench creation and debugging flows is desirable
• Interest in deeptech systems such as batteries, power electronics and motor control is a big plus
• Proactive mindset, curiosity, and the ambition to shape next-gen energy systems with us
YOUR TASKS
• Designing and maintaining verification environments for FPGA and ASIC components
• Writing and executing testbenches using SystemVerilog and/or VHDL
• Simulating and debugging digital circuits using industry-standard tools
• Collaborating closely with architecture, software, and algorithm teams to validate system functionality
• Documenting verification procedures and contributing to continuous improvement of our verification flows
• Supporting the qualification of hardware for use in demanding energy and mobility applications
• Testing and refining features on FPGA in close coordination with our semiconductor partner – with the goal of integrating them into a new automotive-grade chip
• Actively shaping the development of this chip: from concept to industrial rollout, with the chance to watch your work power the future of smart, scalable battery systems for Electromobility 2.0.
