My Duties
* Lead a team of accounting professionals in the digitalization of accounting processes, including the implementation of AI or similar technologies
* Prepare financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standards
* Present financial data to the management board for strategic decision-making
* Oversee credit control, credit collection, and cash planning activities
* Coordinate and manage external partners for payroll, accounting, and tax-related tasks
* Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting to local authorities, including VAT declarations
* Perform intercompany reconciliations and oversee receivables tracking, collections, and credit risk mitigation
* Implement and enforce internal controls (ICS) and compliance procedures
* Collaborate closely with other internal departments such as treasury and controlling
My Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
* Proven experience in accounting with a focus on financial statement preparation and analysis
* Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an accounting team
* Fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in SAP and MS Office; experience with HFM is an advantage
* Strong interpersonal skills, a team player mindset, self-organized, and adept at problem-solving
