The position We are seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager for our Regional Center Vienna (RCV). The focus of this position will be the strategic and operational purchasing for “Direct Sourcing” in “Engineering, Construction & Equipment” in the biopharmaceutical contract manufacturing. In this role, you act as a contact person for business stakeholders and are responsible for developing and implementing the global procurement strategy within defined categories. Tasks & responsibilities Responsibility for implementing and improving the procurement strategy in coordination with Global Sourcing and the RCV countries Analysis of market and needs analysis in coordination with business stakeholders, as well as independent execution of tenders within the categories at local and regional level and leadership in contract negotiations Preparation and execution of inquiries and offer comparisons as well as conducting supplier and price negotiations together with the internal business partners Independent negotiation and harmonization of basic- and supply agreements, taking into account increasing requirements and internal purchasing guidelines Supplier Management: Support in the search, selection and evaluation of suppliers as well as maintenance and expansion of supplier relationships, claim management and modification of contracts Requirements Economic and/or technical training in combination with relevant, multiannual professional experience in procurement is beneficial, ideally with prior experience in the pharmaceutical environment Excellent MS Office and SAP knowledge is desirable Structured and high organizational capacity as well as proactive, solution-oriented and independent working methods Teamplayer with strong communication and presentation skills as well as assertiveness Proficiency in German is a must as well as fluency in English Your Benefits Flexible working time models/home office depending on the position Additional off-days (bridge-days) for more leisure time Staff restaurant with a variety of lunch options for your daily well-being Position specific training opportunities for your personal and professional growth Comprehensive health promotion, sustaining your health in the best possible way The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective bargaining agreement for this position is EUR 58.199,96 (full time).
