As a Senior Service Field Technician (Mechanical) at Wine Industry Services, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing essential automatic line equipment used in the beverage and packaging industries. This is a full-time wages position based in Golden Grove, SA 5125, with opportunities for overtime and interstate and overseas travel.

What you'll be doing
1. Mechanical installation and commissioning of automatic bottling & packaging equipment.
2. Ensure all machinery is installed according to OEM's specifications and Australian safety standards.
3. Willingness to travel to various client locations for installations and services, and occasional overseas trips.
4. Provide routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
5. Train client staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
6. Provide remote and on-site support for equipment issues.
7. Maintain records of service visits and prepare reports.
8. Ensure adherence to Australian safety standards and regulations.
9. Coordinate with our companies sales & project teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
10. Foster strong client relationships and address inquiries.
11. Track spare parts and manage procurement.
12. Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to process enhancements.
What we're looking for
1. Engineering Mechanical qualification with a background in beverage and production lines an advantage.
2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Service Technician within the beverage industry.
3. Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of industrial equipment.
4. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint (essential).
5. CAD 2D (advantageous).
6. Willingness to travel, including occasional overseas trips which are fully paid.
7. A full driver's licence for the use of the company car.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
9. Commitment to workplace health and safety.
10. A positive, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently.
11. Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
