Scientist - Development of magnetic RF and spintronic devices (f/m/d)Technology development for RF-based magnetic devices, specifically circulators, from concept to prototype.Collaborate with process engineers to develop magnetic devices fabrication processes in an R&D clean room facility.Microfabrication and prototyping in cleanroom facility from small size samples up to 200 mm wafer level technology.Advanced characterization and testing of developed RF devices (electrical, structural, magnetic, …)Scientific communication, reporting of research results, documentation, generating new intellectual property including patent applications, writing of proposals.YOUR PROFILEMaster 5 years of relevant working experience/ PhD in relevant field (education in magnetics, spintronics, high-frequency, physics, microtechnology or similar fields)Microfabrication experience in cleanroom, preferably for magnetics-based or RF-based devicesExperience in with characterization of magnetic devices; characterization of RF devices is a strong plusProficiency in English, German is a plusA team player with good communication skillsGenuine interest in applied research, industrial applications, and scientific progressWillingness to relocate to Austria/Villach.IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT SALDiverse research activities with many technical challenges.
