Job Description:
* You will focus on processing journals with regard to pre-acquisition, ordering, acquisition, inventory and formal cataloguing. In addition, you will carry out the formal processing of all new and existing serials arriving at the faculty.
* You will check incoming invoices for factual accuracy and complain about missing deliveries. You will maintain personal contact with faculty members, suppliers and internal interfaces.
* As part of customer service, you will provide advice on how to use the library and how to use the individual services (e.g. teaching research techniques).
Your Profile:
* You have a school-leaving certificate or equivalent qualification (e.g. university entrance qualification examination).
* You have a university entrance qualification (Matura). You preferably have completed library training (training for library, information and documentation services) or a comparable qualification.
* You are confident in using the usual office software (MS Office).
* Ideally, you have practical experience in using the library management system ALMA as well as application-safe knowledge of RDA and MARC21.
* You enjoy working in a team and are happy to contribute to a constantly changing work environment. Eagerness to learn and commitment are important to you.
* You value reliable, accurate and structured work, transparent communication and have a strong service orientation.
* You preferably have basic knowledge of English and Spanish.

For this position in job group IIIa, a minimum gross salary of € 1.949 per month (14 times) is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
