The opportunity:
As an Outage Management Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a sustainable energy future. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with Operations Outage Engineers to deliver a seamless schedule of reservations with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). Your mission will be to foster strong customer relationships and maintain a solutions-focused mindset, all while ensuring minimal impact on connected customers and the National Electricity Market (NEM).

This role offers you the autonomy to make impactful decisions and the opportunity to negotiate with various stakeholders, assess outage impacts, and manage key relationships. This cohesive team thrives on collaboration and mutual support, working closely together to achieve their goals. You'll find a professional environment where everyone's contributions are valued, and teamwork is paramount. Whether you're brainstorming solutions, coordinating schedules, or celebrating successes, you'll be surrounded by colleagues who are as passionate and committed as you are.

* Demonstrated ability to interpret technical and organisational information in order to make informed decisions and/or provide informed advice.
* Basic understanding of the NEM with the ability to conceptualise potential NEM outcomes as consequence of transmission influence.
* Knowledge of electrical safety policy, procedures and legislation.
