Barracuda Networks is currently looking for a passionate HRBP eager to make a real impact across a dynamic region to support our Austria offices located in Innsbruck and Vienna. This role will be at the forefront of shaping our employee experience and driving strategic HR initiatives.
In this role you will be responsible for partnering with Global HRBP’s and local leadership to provide HR support for all employees in the EMEA region. You will be joining a talented Global HRBP team with knowledgeable people to support and develop you. This position will be based in Innsbruck and will report to the Director, HR EMEA.
What you will do:
* Champion the Employee Journey: Be the go-to expert for Austria employees, guiding them through every stage of their journey with us—from recruitment to offboarding.
* Talent Acquisition & Compensation: Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to attract top talent, conduct competitive compensation analyses, and provide strategic compensation recommendations to ensure we remain a leading employer of choice in the region.
* Employee Relations: Partner with Global HR Business Partners to address employee relations matters and support local management, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
* Regional Leadership: Take the lead as our HR representative for Austria, offering valuable insights and collaborating on enterprise-wide HR programs to ensure regional needs are met.
* Compliance & Documentation: Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and records to meet local legal requirements, including meeting all time & attendance CBA standards, as well as handling employment contracts and new hire documentation with precision, whilst partnering with local authorities for general compliance.
* Trusted Advisor: Serve as a key advisor to senior colleagues, providing HR support for global initiatives and helping leaders achieve their business goals.
* Engagement & Culture: Organize and oversee local Employee Engagement Events to foster a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.
What you bring to the role:
* Degree in Human Resources or related field.
* Fluent in German and English; written and spoken.
* 10+ years’ combined experience as an HR Generalist with a minimum of 4 years of Business Partner support in a fast-paced, hands-on environment handling a diverse range of HR functions.
* Demonstrated experience partnering with managers to deliver HR solutions.
* Strong understanding of international human resources policies and procedures, incl. applicable knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements and employment regulations across EMEA countries preferred.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems.
* Excellent ability to build and manage relationships.
* Strong leadership and influence skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills; aptitude in problem-solving.
* Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
* Eagerness to work within a global HRBP team with a focus on achieving results.
* Open to quarterly travel to offices in Vienna and the United Kingdom.

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualifications. Based on the CBA level, the minimum gross salary for this position is € 52.136 EUR.
