The Impact You'll Make
Lam is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a crucial role in supporting new product pilot production factories, virtual manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing production factories.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations.
You will troubleshoot technical, quality, and production challenges, optimize manufacturing costs and standards, and contribute to panel equipment production.
Key Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
2. Design, develop, and implement safe and cost-effective complex equipment and methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing.
3. Define process and methods for high volume manufacturing, including operations method sheets, routing, and sequencing.
4. Perform virtual build and create sequence of assembly.
5. Investigate root causes and recommend corrective action for operational problems.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 8 years of experience.
* Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
* Proficient in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), software applications like CAD modeling, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Product Data Modeling (PDM) systems.
* Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of Semiconductor equipment, Capital Equipment industry, and its manufacturing processes.
* Effective communication and presentation skills in English.
* Statistical analysis skills, including statistical process control and data analysis used in production settings.
