The Global HSE Expert will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs for the ALPLA Plants worldwide. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, minimize risk, and promote a safe and healthy workplace.
1. ImIemplement, update and develop global HSE policies, procedures and tools ( risk analysis, behaviour based safety, LOTO, hazardous substance management, permit to work, etc.)
2. Manage the ALPLA HSE community, drive learning and experience exchange and lead the ALPLA HSE Safety Culture Assessment program
3. Provide assistance in machine safety requests and coordinate with the machine supplier
4. Supports incident investigation and root cause analysis
5. Provide HSE subject matter support to Senior Management, HSE training
6. Conduct HSE inspections and drive sharing of lessons learned and good practices
7. Provide global HSE system administration, develop the HSE suite and present monthly reporting to the Board of Management
What makes you great
8. Degree in occupational safety and health, environmental science, or a related field
9. Strong experience in operational HSE management, preferably in an international environment
10. International certificate in HSE management
11. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
12. Experience with HSE suites ( Intelex) and MS Office Suite ( PowerBI, Forms)
13. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
14. Strong communication and training skills
15. Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (up to 60% travel)
