As IT Project Manager, your main responsibility in the project is delivering the company's software. You'll work with various stakeholders to prepare software solution concepts and phase into the project at the general Kick-off, overseeing the implementation of the solution from design and implementation through testing and delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer communication
2. Review of the technical functional specifications by all involved departments.
3. Active solution management for SW matters
4. Create internal documents for project-executing departments
5. Coordinate test plans (factory tests, internal and customer-specific acceptance tests)
6. Coordination of, and participation in, engineering meetings (with mechanical engineer, hardware engineer, electrics engineer, software engineer)
7. Support of project-implementing departments (SW engineering, development, software quality assurance, commissioning) and (global) Project Management
8. Ensuring continuous updating of customer-specific SW-documents.
9. Coordinate customer projects with software suppliers (company’s internal and 3rd party external)
10. Owner of SW project overall schedule (including SW-time schedules)
11. Change Request handling throughout the whole project life cycle and identification of potential deviations to original project scope
12. Authority to issue directives to the SW project team in all SW related topics
13. Lessons learned triggered by SW content Owner for software related topics together with (pre-) sales
Requirements:
1. In-depth project and team management skills.
2. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
3. Excellent understanding and planning of end-to-end project lifecycle delivery.
4. Good understanding of warehouse operations.
5. Good understanding of WMS/WCS
6. Computer skills (MS Office, the company’s-internal tools)
7. Language skills: English is mandatory; German is beneficial
