As a Operational Procurement Specialist, you will manage and execute daily procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency, manage supplier relationships, and support inventory management.
The Operational Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in driving the organization's procurement function by ensuring effective supplier engagement, optimizing procurement processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Reporting to Sr. Strategic Procurement Manager, you will collaborate across multiple teams, contributing to seamless operations and supporting the organization’s supply chain efficiency and sustainability goals.

1. You will oversee daily procurement operations, handling activities such as order placements, supplier negotiations, and vendor management. Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods, you’ll work to meet operational requirements while adhering to the company's quality standards.
2. Generating and analyzing procurement reports will be central to your role. You’ll assess supplier performance, track procurement trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, you will prepare detailed reports for management, providing insights into procurement activities and overall operational performance.
3. Ensuring compliance is vital. You will maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring adherence to the company's policies and procedures. You’ll also ensure procurement guidelines and associated documents are updated regularly and are accessible to relevant stakeholders.
4. Your role will involve evaluating existing procurement processes and identifying areas for improvement. From optimizing workflows to implementing new tools and systems, you’ll lead initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll also explore opportunities for automation to streamline operations.
5. As a key liaison between departments, you’ll work closely with finance, operations, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth coordination of procurement processes. You will also advise and support internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters, fostering effective collaboration across the organization.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
7. Minimum of 3 years in operational procurement or a similar role.
8. Exceptional communication in English and interpersonal skills.
9. Industry experience in beverages or consumer goods is advantageous.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
11. Proven organizational and detail-oriented capabilities.
12. Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
13. Proficiency in SAP MM/S4 (mandatory).
14. Familiarity with SAP Ariba modules (SLM, CLM, and Sourcing) is preferred.
15. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
