ANDRITZ is seeking a dynamic I&C Engineer to support us with our Power-to-X projects. In this role you will be responsible to define, specify and clarify instrument and control requirments for our green hydrogen and renewable fuel solutions.
We are looking for a professional with wealthy experience in process control engineering. Your deep understanding of defining requirements and designing control solutions will play a crucial role for the success of our projects.

In your role, you will
1. Develop innovative control concepts for our plant solutions
2. Define requirements for the automation, instrumentation and control equipment
3. Participating HAZOP and LOPA studies
4. Preparing of control flow charts and function descriptions for the software developing
5. Align and jointly review the control interfaces to package units
6. Be part of the commissioning, start-up, and optimization team
7. Manage and define related template and standard specifications
8. Clarify technical solutions, collect all required data and review all deliverables
9. Optimize system solutions according to our requirements with the suppliers
10. Take the responsibility to coordinate with all stakeholders
11. Clarify, discuss and present the technical solution towards the customer
In your personal skillset you have
12. Degree level qualification in a process, automation or control engineering discipline is a plus.
13. Minimum five years of experience as a I&C engineer or similar roll, experience within the process or petrochemical industry is a plus.
14. Practical experience of plant commissioning is a must, knowledge to review and check PLC software is a plus.
15. Ability to consult with customers and suppliers about technical design requirements is expected.
16. Explain design solutions in an engaging manner
17. Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
18. Solution/team/customer oriented with the confidence to act pro-actively
19. Fluent in English. Another European language is an advantage
20. Willingness to travel for 3 days per month on average

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € ,78 per month for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
