The role:
As Scientific Developer, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions. In this role, you will be part of a motivated team that drives technical excellence and delivers successful high-performance and scalable products. You will contribute to projects that are critical to both the industry and environmental sustainability.
What you will be working on:
* Development of Meteorological Data Processing Software and Services
* Software Development in C++/Python
* Writing Software Documentation (in Code, out of Code)
* Promote the use of new technologies and best practices
* Optimise performance and streamline development
You are a fit if you have:
* Background in natural sciences or physics
* Proven Experience with C++, Python is a plus
o SQL and PostGIS is a plus
* Experience with Linux (Debian flavors preferred)
* Strong database (PostgreSQL) skills are a plus
* English fluency, German is a plus
