Railway companies around the world are moving away from decentralised working methods to consolidated control centres. Frequentis can help overcome these hurdles with its fixed terminal system platform, migrating to the Future Railway Mobile Communication System and enabling any digital radio network for unified communication. Our new system platform follows the FRMCS target architecture and will replace the existing communication system in operations centres.
Key Tasks
* You analyze and review system requirements and solutions related to testability.
* You will develop the test specifications with the test manager based on project requirements, design, architecture, and solutions.
* You will also coordinate the test specification with the customer.
* The planning and execution of manual and automated tests (internally and on-site with the customer) is also part of your responsibilities.
* In addition, you will perform integration, system, and regression tests in complex system landscapes and document the results, which you will analyze and record deviations.
* Finally, you will also be responsible for carrying out system acceptance tests with customers (factory acceptance tests, on-site acceptance tests) together with the test manager.
Key Qualifications
* Completed technical education (HTL) in the field of IT/network technology.
* Very good English and good German language skills.
* First professional experience in test engineering, possibly in the form of internships, as well as experience in the Linux environment and with tools (such as JIRA, JAMA) is an advantage.
* ISTQB certification is an additional asset.
* Structured way of working.
* Analytical skills.
* High quality awareness.
* Willingness to travel 10-15%.

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 37,361 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
