As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for implementing automation solutions in standard products as well as for custom solutions for our clients.
Job Description
* Designing and independently implementing automation solutions
* PLC programming and developing control concepts for automation solutions
* Developing and improving standardized PLC modules
* Performing FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Test / Site Acceptance Test)
* Remote maintenance of devices after delivery and troubleshooting
* Close communication with clients and internal departments
* Commissioning systems at the Wolfsberg facility in Carinthia and on client sites
Qualifications
* Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology
* Solid expertise and relevant professional experience in PLC programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
* Strong proficiency in programming with structured text languages (e.g., SCL)
* High problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work
* Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Willingness to travel (approximately 30%)

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): € 3.400 to € 5.000.
