Who We Are
Our mission has begun. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and the ramp-up of our global headquarters for global cell production. As the heart of the company, the Operations department assumes overall responsibility for the production process. The division takes over all production-related activities within battery cell production. Our tasks include the planning, construction and introduction of the upcoming battery cell factories. In addition, the planning and implementation of functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management are also key elements in the area of operations.
Your Role And Key Responsibilities
* Participation in strategic capacity planning for the optimization of PowerCo's international production network
* Ensuring that the plants are aligned with the strategic capacity targets and that the technical standards of the Standard Factory concept are met
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop processes and standards in the international production network and ensure compliance
* Development of a performance management system for the plants including the regular analysis of KPIs and derivation of medium and long-term improvement initiatives
* Development of methods and guidelines for an international production network for the respective area of responsibility
* Development of digital "use cases" for the department's key topics, such as capacity planning, investment management, KPI monitoring
What You Bring To The Team
* Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, economics or a comparable qualification
* Experience in modeling mathematical models for production planning
* Experience with production processes in the battery cell industry/production
* Strong communication skills and conflict resolution skills
* Analytical thinking, organizational skills, a high degree of initiative and time management
* Good written and spoken English skills required (at least level B2)

* A high degree of initiative and the willingness to take responsibility for one's own areas of responsibility are expected
* Other foreign language skills (in addition to good English skills) are an advantage
